Proper Ambusing
From Previous Experiance from the last official club game, VC trail, I think fraser ruined the word ambush. I think that with somegames we shoucl do ambushing style techniques. Just and Idea And all fullas.

Re: Proper Ambusing
I think that is a brilliant idea. Also I think that we should go a bit further and create a separate forum that only joined members can see, it should be called tutorials. And this part of the forum should be deticated to various tutorials that people have other found or wrote.
I could do this myself but I'm not going to for fear of losing my newly found admin status.

Re: Proper Ambusing
Is not need to really create a seperate are for this kind of thing nothing to hide or show. Only thing would make so non members can't see would be things for sale and that would be it to be honest.
Ambushing is an entirely different thing to learn I learnt quite well when playing with Carl and PAC boys but have not really used it since then. Only really few earlier games but we haven't really done it since then much properly. Reading only helps with certain things it is being in field and learning from experience that does it truly.

Re: Proper Ambusing
That may be the case elle but tutorials are always handy things to have in almost every situation. And there's always something that someone could stand to learn by reading up on some material that someone has either written or found.

Re: Proper Ambusing
What if we did a game where one team starts in the middle of the feild and is not allowed to move from that spot until they see an enemy or are fired upon. The attacking team would be slightly smaller so that in a normal fight they'd lose so they'd have to sneak into position and co-ordinate their fire in order to win.

Re: Proper Ambusing
its as simple as the 'ambushing' side have the discipline to hold fire and remain hidden until they have the ENTIRE opposite team line up, and only then nail them. which doesnt seem to happen.

Re: Proper Ambusing
So we should make the ambushing team be unfairly outnumbered.

Re: Proper Ambusing
Yeah someone always seems to fire early or give there cover away, was great fun when got it right especally when on attacking team because walking one moment next are on ground taking cover while medic is healing people as fast as he can. Good times
I remember on my b-day bash me and Tim were up tree and our team managed to hold fire when team came into right spot we nailed them like anything was great.
But having an outnumbered team sounds like something we need to try.

Re: Proper Ambusing
can see some conflict already both Jono and Tyler grow up for goodness sake. Tyler does have a point about frasier but no need bring that on here Tyler. But jono way you saying it is way of saying direct insult pretty much.
Noise grenades can be used but are expensive and you would lose on green ops to begin with. So not much use are fun we have used in cqb

Indeed, if you must insult someone please be clever about it. Otherwise I feel like I'm in a bad soap opera. And I don't want that.

Re: Proper Ambusing
Flash grenades are only best in dark areas where they have a solidish area. In the bush the leaves tend to dim the flash (plus it is annoying to look for grenades in the undergrowth). Noise grenades still work ok but the best place to use them is still indoors.
