Since there is alot of interest in the sport airsoft we are holding a introduction afternoon. During this afternoon airsoft will be fully explained. The afternoon will include a run down on airsoft rules, history behind it, safety etc. This is the ideal opportunity to invite along interested freinds, parents and give them a view of what we do.

Re: About the 9th May (Intro day)
The afternoon will consist of soem speaking by ATA members outlingin gthe club, airsoft, safety and gear etc, aim is to take no more than half an hour, along with a chance for them to have al ook at our gear up close. Then proced over the road and run through a coupel of practical shooting courses for the fun of everyone + plus give the new people some hands on experience and also let us see if they are responsible or not. Hopefully as a result of this we will get some new memebers, and these will have met some ata members who can guide them thorugh their first airsoft game. Its not adopt-a-noob.... well... maybe it is a bit.

There will be time for questions after each segment. ATA people attending need to be prepared with their airsoft gun and i believe elle would like you in kit as well. We dont need a huge quantity of guns (ie one G36 will do - pref Tim C's one), but a good variety to be able to show off segs, snipers, GBB, EBB, etc. You can expect to have some new people want to perv at your stuff and be prepared for questions etc. When we do the practical courses (unless th eweather kills it) myself and Mr T will supervise a course each (ie marshal and time), and we ask you to teach each noob how to operate, sight and fire well enough to hit the half dozen or so targets on the (timed) course. If you want to host a new noob along to a game in the future that would be lovely too.
Any questions ?

Re: About the 9th May (Intro day)
Are we gonna do a segment like Mark did and put the fear of god in all the newbies. Man, when he did that over a year ago. Wowsers! It wasn't anything I didn't know but the way he put it really got the message across.

Re: About the 9th May (Intro day)
I dont think so. It was very effective, yes, but largely becuase of marks desire to not meet us in his professional capacity or see someone facing criminal charges. GOod pont thou, that will need to be covered.
