Gunshow 12th June Feilding

The Ruahine branch of the NZ antique & Historical arms asociation will be hosting a public display, Sat 12th June, at the Rangitikei club, Bowen st, Feilding. Open to public 10am - 4pm.

I postd this because of 2 reasons...

1. You may want to go have a look. There will be lots of items on display, of all kinds, guns old, fairly old, and maybe newish, military, not military and all kinds of non-gun stuff related. You have no idea what is out there in private collections. There will be sales tables with things to buy. Its only $5 per person to get in, children under 12 free, must be accompanied by an adult.

2. There is no extra cost to have a display table. It would require a genuine and intelligent effort on the part of those doing so to put together a display, but it is possible. The event is open to the public, so it will be a chance to create some good PR and show what airsoft is. Things to consider if you do so:
. Public young and old will be looking
. You need to consider what image you intend to convey
. Police will be attending
. A large number of firearms enthusiasts will be attending - pro - they welcome interest in their activities, con - again, what kind of image are you portraying.
. Its local, another chance to recruit members, and ALL the people attending are already half intested in guns and stuff.
. I say you becuase i wont be involved at all, i have enough to do already at this event.

I shall be there thinking of a German army table or something different yet cool. Or something airsoft related just promoting the sport in General.

German table would have G36s, Mp5s and Flecktarn

Other ideas would be appreciated cause we do want a ATA table there

i thought you were away then elle. i would be glad to do it but would need someone over 18 there.

na i,m here then leave July 4th so a while off. Yeah we will have a person over 18 there all legal stuff will be sorted but we do have to do something clever and cool. Cause I do want to go look at some of the other stuff at the same time as well so yah. But we will organise one as a team rather than inderivduals. We have to make it look really good though and put plenty of effort into it.

would say no at this time Tyler would like seiner members there plus a few other reasons you can come but not to do with our display and will have to get your own ride there i,m afraid.

Sorry Tytler but elle is right - this is definitely oone for the senior members.
