I have three game days planned for the undefinite future.

But there reason they are here in the Off Topic forums is cos al I'm gonna say about them is the name and you guys have to guess. In order of easy to hard.

    OPERATION STARDUST

    OPERATION THOMPSON

    OPERATION HAWKING

They are all last names of people. The last one is actually impossiable to guess cos it has nothing to do with the day.

Each day has a theme, guess the theme. Win the prize!

Operation Hawking IS named after Stephen Hawking but the day has nothing to do with him.

The other two are a lawer, and a 'fictional' character. Both ARE related to the theme of each of the days.

Plus I had another idea for another game day. Soon to be another name added.

Ziggy Stardust played guitar, a clue as David Bowie also did the song 2001 a space oddity, which featured:

Major thompson, who left the planet on an interstellar journey, who, along with:

    Stephen Hawking studies the universe.

Therefore, the answer is clear. There are 2 clear possible outcomes to this scenario. Either we are going to play a series of games bases on the masai tribesmen of africa battling it out with the cossacks of 19th century Russia on a lunar landscape, and the special hardouts get to be an 'elite tactical force' of samurai warroirs armed with mg42 machine guns.... or... we are going to play "airsoft" with BBs coated in some hallucenogenic drugs timothy has been exposed to at masey and spend the afternoon tripping out, floating around the universe. Both sound interesting. Both are environmentally freindly.

Well, yes, it is Ziggy Stardust. - Alter ego with flambouyant costune = Fancy Dress Day.

Stephen Hawking. - Actually he has nothing to do with 'milsim' in brackets.

Thompson, the lawyer. Who Jonathan has not named. Is related to:

OPERATION THOMPSON is named after a lawyer.

OPERATION TUNGSTEN pulls my brain threads, but my theme of naming would rename such a day to OPERATION EDISON.

You did only wait 1 min for someone to reply. And this is the first I've gone on since last post. Anyhoo, to be honest they are not names that tickle my fancy. They're good names for ACTUAL military operations. But my goal when running a day isn't to do that, it's to do something real wierd and crazy. Operation Where is Tyler would be a good one for a day you don't show up. And operation where did I park again would be good for a game in a parking lot. Which would be awesome! But unfortuante.
