Spent some time improving my growing collection of airguns....
Both SEGS got a re-wire with some heavier wiring, deans connectors and mechbox internal cleanout. The G36 got an o-ringed air nozzle , because it was terrible. That seems to have improved fps. Will have to find out tomorrow. Both guns have much better trigger response time. I might try o-ringing the MP5k too, and knocking a couple of teeth off the piston.
Heres a pic of the old wiring beside the (fitted) new wiring. Its hard to see but its about twice the size.
Ive also bought a new toy for my G36:
Its fantastic, i want to get one for the mp5 and my .22 as well. Put it on when i got home from work, and went to show the neighbours.
it was difficult to get a pic of the reticule but heres the crosshair:
It also has 2 different size dots and a dot + circle that will be perfect for airsoft. It makes aimed shots so easy. Really.
After all this i deciced to step outside and fire a test shot, as you do. It was getting a bit dark and i couldnt see where i was hitting so i thought ' i'll shoot at that security light about 20 meters away - it will give a satisfying clink when the bb hits it........
Bugger! Note to self - bulbs explode nicely. Please dont try this at home folks, unless you are the owner / willing to clean up and replace said light bulbs!
