And also fyi the JG G36c has proven to be a cheap and reliable gun, should be no more than $270 to get one in at the moment, assumig our dollar hols up for a bit longer. Its not quite up to the nice fit and finish of the SRC or other better brands, but they work fine.

If anyone is ever interested in buying the JG/ACM G608 (G36C), I can get them for $300 for 2 including shipping - you pay on delivery. Doesn't come with the original packaging box as they are going to be shipped in HKPost EMS Economy Boxes. Can also load in gun bags/BBs/Tools/batteries etc. up to a combined value of $350-400.

Re: JG G36Cs at eHobbyasia
Oh yes, definitely. I usually get my contact (FightingCock for those who know him) to toss away only the BBs and chargers.
In fact depending on the exchange rate it might be cheaper. G608s currently cost about U$80 each (JG, CYMA etc. got shut down 2 years ago and only slowly started coming back early this year and price of everything rose a little - used to be something like U$65 per G36C) . X2 + U$60 for shipping = U$220 / .81 = NZ$270 and give or take $20 depending on whether I got slapped for labour. I don't want to overpromise so $300 is a worse case cost. Can toss in bunch of foldable gun bags at cost as well - once you pay for a shipping box you don't pay much extra. You don't pay for tax so long as the item is under $350 combined value.
Used to do lipo package (li-poly battery + li-poly bag + balancer charger) for about $70 as li-poly is definitely a step up from NiCD/NiMH batteries and the fireproof bag is a sure-fire guarantee from li-poly burning the house down. - but it has been a while since I was an armourer so not sure what it'll cost now. I used to kit the newbs in LOD this way.
The reason why shipping can be kept so low is because them G36C stock can be folded and neatly placed into a 20kg HKP EMS Express Box - and same strategy can also go for AKS-74U and MP5s (anything that can be made short). Most of the time shipping guns from HK is dear due to the fact that they are fairly long and you pay for the length.
Only downside is turnaround time is about 1 month.
