Shields: Good or Bad?

Recently Jono brought his homemade swat shield to the last airsoft war. It was a very powerful tool that prevented the user from being shot as easily. Some say it was too powerful. Elle has decided that the shields should be banned. What do you think of this?

I think that we should keep using shields but make it so each team gets one, I also think that shields + semi-automatic pistols are a too powerful combination. Having sheilds makes us different and unique to other airsoft clubs.

I agree, I think that shields add an extra dimension to our play. However, I think their use should be restricted to scenario type matches and not generic team battles.

So we could do missions like a swat team recuing hostages with the shields but disallow them for team battles.

I don,t mind shields as long as no one with a Gas pistol is using one

i think when we all have semi's the person with the sheild has a $2 shop gun

I find the sheild works as well as you use it.

Although Jono has had the experiance of being a BB magnet due to his shield.

silly earthlings shilds should not be use enven with u using it but in cod modern warfer 2 u gan use an mp5 with it

I suppose you could use an MP5k with a shield. Now if only we knew someone with one...

hmmm theres an idea a Mp5K with shield could work proberly better on a CQB field but a bush field could also be used.

shields should be encouraged. also bb's cant be magnetised. unless your using steel pellets. wich you shall not! when you have a shield fun tatics come into play such as bonzaiing from a tree above, slamming the guy to the ground, using his owshiled as cover, and nailing him while you can reach your hand around the corner of the shield. or somthing like that. shields definatly good.

i dident say use an mp5k i was just pionting it if u where to use one whoever it should have to be a springer

ok i am changing my position on sheilds.
i think they are a good idea but from experience if you love walking around being freaked out because every five seconds there is a hail of bb's hitting right next to your head then go ahead by all means use the sheild but its not somethign that i will do again lol

You are welcome to continue using it with SEGS being used now shield are not the brightest idea to use Jono might remember that from a PAC game we attended.

well i think tactical shield add a new dimension of gameplay to our matches simply because there is always that one guy who almost impossible to hit whether it be in real life, airsoft or in a game and tactical shields bring that back into a real world situation whether it is freaky or not lol

Ray does make sense on this, since shields arnt bullet-proof using them on a field jst doesnt quite seem right.

okay what i ment was they are more cqb then ofb you see as they are slitly bulet proof and they whoud look stupid you see

no they aren,t they attract so much fire its just not funny although a shield thats bigger than Jonos would be useful hmmm we so need a cqb field that we can use it on.
