Well, we can get people asking questions and stuff.
They can ask questions that they might feel stupid for asking on the asnz forums but here its ok.
For example: What is HOP Up?
We could start a thread where everyone asks questions.
Or one where we post funny pictures each day?

Folks might come here because:
It is the primary means of communication for planning games / events / meetings, meaning a check every few days is important, so you dont miss the chance to shoot someone on their birthday.
They can discuss silly questions as TT says, and get answers, as well as discuss deals / steals / sales of the century. And new acqusitions or modifications, for example, how completely rewiring ones MP5k on a tuesday night makes a suprisingly massive difference to performance. I like it a lot.
The anchient and noble art of spamming, the pointles discussion of grapefruit technology while posting links to stupid and hopelessly addictive impossible quizzes, which activities provide a meaningful and soothing outlet to the days troubles.
Or they were just looking for a link to something else in their bookmarks and wondered if they might check this forum to se if anyone else had posted something new.
Solution: All of the above. Make this forum an event calendar, post up the rules and requirments for games/membership etc, locations, links to maps etc. Make everyone feel welcome and free to type WETFTW into the forum. Make the place look lived in (aka post in all the forums often), the only tomb that gets many visitors is the taj mahal and thats hard to get to. No one is going to visit a dusty old forum that hasnt had a post in it for 6 months.
