Re: Ideas for ATA logos
Well, I had some really great ones.
But apparently we don't want to look like a terrorist group.
I'll post them up anyway 'cos I like the font, we could always drop the AK.
Don't really like the second one.
I really want to make sure we have a logo that is unique and cool. Most other clubs seem to have really boring logos (with a couple of exceptions)
Questions: Do we need/want the words ATA in the badge? We could always just have some fancy symbol.

Re: Ideas for ATA logos
I had a play with a couple of pictures tonight....based on an idea i had a couple of months ago when i saw Timothys ak drawings. The AK is the T and also forms a part of the A. Heres a couple of variations:

One more for good luck....
I think its pretty much as non-threatening as you can get for an image of a person holding a rifle

Re: Ideas for ATA logos
I'd really like a rifle in the logo and its not like we show the logo to the general public.

Yeah so do I we should keep it for now I still like the second one you posted Mikie it looks the best so far. At the moment the AK47 can stay if they think its terroisty we can change it to like a G36 or steyr or something like that.

Re: Ideas for ATA logos
Please also consider that the picture definitly shows a SOLDIER, not a terrorist. The AK is standard issue for many legit armed forces. Of course, it could be changed to any other rifle, but the AK is very much non-specific, whereas if you have an M4 suddenly the picture is of a US soldier, if its a G36 then he is german, AUG makes him Aus / NZ...... you get the picture. Also the stance could be interpreted many ways, from a dawn charge to a sunset surrender! It could be victory, or as i suddenly realised last night, in airsoft terms it means hes just acknowledged a hit! Which also displays honesty, integrity and sportsmanship. Or maybe its just a picture.

Re: Ideas for ATA logos
Hmmm maybe we should start a poll to see which one people like the most.

Re: Ideas for ATA logos
Well, we only have 2 designs at the moment (not counting my crappy two gun one) and I'm sure we could think up a couple more before we make a decision.
